HP's Slate 7 tablet goes on sale, brings on the Beats for $170

After a false alarm, HP is keeping to its initial promise of delivering its Slate 7 Android tablet this month -- and with a few days to spare, no less. The seven-inch device, which first popped up at MWC back in February, is now on sale in the US through the company's retail site, for the low, low price of $170.
